I'm so sorry to hear of Grandma's passing. She was a wonderful lady that always had nice things to say.
While I wish that I had more time to spend with her over the years, the few precious times we had to spend with one another were wonderful. I remember it was fun spending time with my cousins at Grandmas house when I was a little kid, and didn't want to leave when our vacation in Vestal was over.
Several years ago, Grandma sent me a Photo album of pictures my parents sent of our family over the years. She had compiled a "story of my life" in pictures. It is one of my most valuable possessions, and brings me much joy. I will always remember her for this kind gift.
I know that in times like this, its hard to say the "right thing" and how to cope and move on with life. Its best to remember that Grandma loved us all and wants us to simply continue to love one another as best as we can. Live life, love life and be happy and grandma will smile down upon all of our days.
My family and I look forward to donating in Grandma's memory to the Vestal Center United Methodist Church.
