Nora Corwin Obituary
of Endicott
Nora L. Corwin, 43, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 10, 2007, at Wilson Hospital. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jackie and Al Corwin. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Rick Corwin; one son, Eric L. Corwin; one daughter, Brittany A. Corwin; her parents, William and Nancy Athawes, all of Endicott; her grandmother, Ray E. Athawes, Penn Yan; one brother, Mark Athawes and Kathy Schepp, Huntington, N.Y.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark and Mary Beth Corwin, Endicott, Tom and Marcia Corwin, Mt. Poccono, N.Y., Kathy and Rick Perkins, Camillus, N.Y.; also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was an employee of CVS, Johnson City. She was a member and current treasurer of the West Corners Fire Company and the Fire Commissioner of the West Corners Fire District. She was also a former EMT for the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11:30 a.m. at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the West Corners Fire Company Endowment Fund, 500 Day Hollow Rd., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.

Nora Was a great lady i enjoyed the the time i shared with her while i was running Engine 98 @ West Corners. She would always talk about her kids she was so proud and i could tell that she loved them dearly my regards to the Corwin Family

I have WONDERFUL memories of Nora!
The times at the fire Station were,
"unforgettable." I believe that gives us a bond only fellow firefighters/EMT's can understand!
She loved you, Eric & Brittany
and will now watch over you from above! I have enjoyed watching you "both" grow up in front of us. There are NO WORDS for your loss. But if you ever want to talk or a shoulder to cry on just ask and we will be there!

I worked with Nora at both Kinney Drugs and CVS Pharmacy and she was the best supervisor I've ever had. Nora was always smiling and when one of her employees or customers needed help she would be more than willing. I will miss walking into CVS and seeing Nora's smiling face.
