Theresa A. Lawlor Larkin, 78, of Johnson City, died Tuesday evening, December 11, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, James J. Larkin, Jr. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Palmer, Owego, her caregiver, Ann Marie Larkin, Johnson City, Patti and Ken Baker, Dallas, Tex., Theresa and Jim Reid, Charlotte, N.C.; a son, James J. Larkin, III, Las Vegas, Nev.; ten grandchildren, Sara, Tiffany and Bradley Palmer, Courtney Larkin, Joshua, Rachelle, Alex Baker, Dustin, Tim and Joe Reid; three great-granddaughters, Hailey, Zoe and Eleanora; sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and Frank Muscatello, Fla., Harold Sweet, Ithaca, Joan Lawlor, Conn., Rita Lawlor, Fla.; special children in her life, Michael and Liam; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City. She was the youngest of eight children of John and Henrietta Lawlor and was predeceased by Elizabeth Sweet, Jeremiah Lawlor, Marie Kelly, Julia Felton, Henrietta Lawlor, Jack Lawlor and Matt Lawlor. She was an avid crocheter, sewer, loved puzzles, reading and her NASCAR driver, Mark Martin. We Love You, Mommy!
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, Johnson City, Saturday at 12 Noon. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, on Monday. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday from 4-6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Theresa may be made to St. James Church Memorial Fund, 147 Main Street, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
