DORIS FORD Obituary



FORD, DORIS 81 - of New Gretna, passed away on November 22, 2009 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills, with her loving family by her side. Doris was born on May 7, 1928 to Emma and Howard Webb. Doris graduated from Indian Mills School in NJ. She was a long time Presser at South Jersey Laundry in Hammonton. She loved visiting with family and friends, playing bingo and her beloved cats, and watching the world through her kitchen window. She was a very loving and forgiving woman and touched many lives. She will be deeply missed. Doris is preceded in death by husband, Norman H. Ford and sons, Norman R. Ford and Ronald W. Ford, also son-in-law, Gordon (Hot Rod) Neil. Doris is survived by daughters, Bessie B. Neil of Hammonton, Mary Patten (William) of Jenkins; sons, Robert (Terry Inman) of New Gretna and Grover Ford (Donna Treen) of Tuckerton; her sister, Mary Jane Campbell of Jenkins; brothers, Howard and William Webb; sixteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Wimberg Funeral Home 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The service will begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow immediately after at the Greenwood Cemetery in Tuckerton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City 609-965-0357.
