Norma Dutra Obituary

DUTRA, NORMA M. (GOLDEN), 77, of Greenwich Avenue, died Wednesday at home. She was the beloved companion of Sal Ursini for many years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James P. Golden and Irene (LaFleur) Butterfield.

Mrs. Dutra was an attendant at the Rhode Island Medical Center for 21 years until her retirement. She was an avid card player for many years and enjoyed bowling on the Senior Moment League at Langs Bowlorama for the past 15 years. She was also a member of the Pilgrim Senior Center.

She was the loving mother of Carolyn N. Dutra of Warwick, Lori A. Monteiro of East Providence, Frank J. Dutra of San Diego, CA and the late Dennis F. Dutra. Caring sister of Richard Golden of Providence, Marilyn Perry of West Warwick, Judy Golden Beaser of Massachusetts, Norman Golden of Rhode Island and the late Leonard, Ronald, James, and Dennis Golden, Ida Mae Falardeau, and Rosemary Golden. Cherished grandmother of nine and great grandmother of fifteen.

Her Funeral Services will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Crossroads RI, 160 Broad St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated. Arrangements by THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
