Marie Paolissi Obituary
Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Romano) D'Andreta. Mrs. Paolissi was an owner of Paula's Soldering Co., North Providence for 28 years before her retirement. She was an avid bingo fan and also volunteered 10 years as a Grandmother for the Foster Grandparents, Providence.
She is survived by her loving children Paula Rotondo and her husband Steven of Johnston and Peter Paolissi Jr. and his wife Alice of Cranston; a brother Paul D'Andreta of Providence; two sisters Anna Pastore of Johnston and Phyllis Dimeo of North Providence; she is also survived by her three grandsons Jordan Paolissi, Billy and Michael Rotondo and his wife Megan.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Golden Crest Nursing Center, 100 Smithfield Rd., North Providence, 02904 would be appreciated.

Marie Paolissi was one of my patients when I worked in Providence. I admired what a kind hearted person she was, and will pray for her family. God rest her soul.
