Rose Landry Obituary

LANDRY, ROSE (GRASSO) 84, of Coventry, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Haven Health Center. She was the wife of the late Wilfred Landry.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Chiara (Melino) Grasso. Rose worked for Astro Med, Inc. for 24 years before retiring.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Catanzaro of West Greenwich and Winnie Lund and her husband Arthur of Crestview, FL, a sister, Assunta D'Ambra of Warwick, six grandchildren, Keith Catanzaro, Julie Catanzaro, Gina Catanzaro-Fothergill, Michael Saccoccio, Jason Lund, and Jodi Lund-Brodeur, and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Costanzo, Rocco, Savario, John, Anthony, and Antonetta Grasso, and Marie Restivo.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Rt. 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) followed by a Mass of Chrisitan Burial at 10:00am in Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
