Dorothy Ferguson Obituary

FERGUSON, DOROTHY B. (ROWAN), 89, of The Villages, FL formerly of Brook Village, Centredale, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Florida. She was the wife of the late George E. Ferguson.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Gilmore) Rowan. She was a member of the Salvatore Mancini Center and the former North Providence Golden Agers.

She leaves a daughter Patricia L. Arruda of The Villages, FL, two sons, Edward G. Ferguson of Lincoln and Robert J. Ferguson of Millbury, MA, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter and a brother Leo Rowan of Greenville. She was mother of the late George E. Ferguson, Jr.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Please omit flowers.
