Irene Pires Obituary
Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Reynolds) Fife. Irene was a member of the Haven United Methodist Church in East Providence, its Women's Society and Philathea Bible Class.
She leaves a son Scott Pires and his wife Janice, a daughter Dale Abatiello and her husband Steven, a sister Ethel Endicott and granddaughters Melissa Dumaine and Carrie Abatiello.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, in the J.H. WILLIAMS & CO FUNERAL HOME, 210 Taunton Ave., East Providence. Calling hours are Wednesday, prior to the service, from 5-7 PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.

I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Although I only had the opportunity to meet her a few times, I remember her to be a truly delightful and sweet lady. Mom,
It is finally time to say goodbye , but only from here on mortal earth. You will always be with me in my heart and you are the builder of my very soul. You were always there for me whenever I needed you and even at times when I didn't recognize what I needed. You taught me about life and the real values to aspire to. You also with the help of dad, Pa and Big Mama brought me to fully embrace my faith. Without that I could not with stand the losses of you all. Rest and be at peace with the Lord. You have truely earned your everlasting place in heaven.
