Angela Walsh Obituary

WALSH, ANGELA JULIE (VELINO), 85, of Manolla Avenue, Warwick, a homemaker and the former president of Tri-Bro Tool Co. in Cranston, died on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. She was the wife of the late John P. Walsh.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Pardo and Carmella (Tavone) Velino, she lived in Warwick since 1950. Mrs. Walsh was a member of Seaview County Club in Warwick for 25 years. She was a member of St. William Parish in Warwick.

She is survived by a daughter, Margaret M. Mullen, and her husband Edward, of Warwick; five sons, John P. Walsh, Jr., and his wife Claire, of Greenville, SC, Stephen J. Walsh of Cranston, Thomas M. Walsh, and his wife Barbara, of West Warwick, Edward P. Walsh, and his wife Sharon, of Coventry, and Robert K. Walsh, and his wife Karen, of Warwick; a sister, Anna Barbari, and her husband Frederick, of Waterford, CT; twenty-one grandchildren, Charleen, Alison, Brian, Kirsten, Ashley, Ben, Stephen, Mark, Michael, Michael, Rob, Monica, Christine, Suzanne, Pamela, Jessica, Jacqueline, Natalie, Sarah, Katie, and Matt; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John A. Velino.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 27, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. William Church, Pettaconsett Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 854 Providence St., West Warwick, RI 02893.
