Joseph Machado Obituary
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores a son of Maria (Medeiros) Machado of Bristol and the late Jose Machado.
Joseph was a Supervisor in the Maintenance Department for the Bristol Warren Regional School's at Mt. Hope High School for 5 years; he also was a construction worker and also worked for the MF Foley Fish Co. in New Bedford and Boston.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Besides his wife of 18 years and mother he is survived by his children Christopher and Gabrielle Machado of Bristol.
A brother Fernando Machado, Rehoboth, MA, five sisters Maria Raposa of Warren, Dora Leal of Bristol, Victoria Hancock of Raynham, MA, Paula Machado of Bristol and Lisa Machado of Providence, Eleven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol Saturday at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, State St. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM
