Anna Smith Obituary

SMITH, ANNA G. (CRAIGHEAD), 85, passed away on June 19, 2008 at the Bannister House. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. Craighead and Cassie L. (Smith) Craighead.

She was the wife of the late Louis M. Smith and Godmother of the late Shirley A. Monteiro. She leaves behind her caregiver and niece, Carol (Craighead) Johnston of Providence, RI, Norma Cole of Bronx, NY, Godson Everett Smith of North Carolina, and a large family of nieces, nephews, and a hosts of friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday 3pm in the First Tabernacle, 135 Dodge Street. Calling Hours Saturday 6-8pm in Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad Street, Providence. Burial will be on Monday at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. www.bellfuneralhome.net
