Maria Tanzi Obituary
Born in SanGiovanni Incarico, Italy she was the daughter of the late Raffael and Rosa (DiSantis) Sabetta. She was an expert seamstress for various department stores, and bridal specialty shops for 60 years before retiring from Briggs Ltd. She was a member of the Fruit Hill Day Care Center, and a life time member of SanGiovanni Incarico Society.
She is survived by her devoted children Anthony R. Tanzi and his wife Judy, RoseAnn Fontana and her husband Peter and Teresa Giugliano and her husband John, a sister Adele Roberti, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Dr. Pasquale Sabetta, Lucia Fiore, Giuseppe Sabetta and Larry Sabetta.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Brayton Avenue Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m.

Anthony, Roseanne, Teresa, Judy, Peter, and John and families,
We were so sorry to learn of the passing while we were away of such a sweet, kind, caring, gentle mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother. We remember so well all of the family gatherings when all our children were young. She was always there and always smiling. She's with your Dad now and at peace and so should all of you be at peace for the love and devotion you showed her through the years.

Dear Terri,
I just want to offer my sympathy in the passing of your Mother.
Although I have never met you, I feel like I know you from speaking with you so many times on the phone to arrange for your Mom's blookwork to be drawn at the correct location,and when she was in and out of the hospital and new orders had to be arranged.
I hope she is resting in peace, and you will find comfort in knowing what
a good caretaker you were.
