Beverly Porcaro Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Esther (Cataldi) Ricci. Mrs. Porcaro had worked as an executive secretary at the DaVinci Center for 26 years.
She was the beloved mother of Gregory A. Porcaro, Sr. and his wife Becky, and Jeffrey M. Porcaro; cherished grandmother of Gregory A. Porcaro, Jr., Letitia Latek, Vincent Jackvony and one great-grandson; sister of Arthur Ricci, Jr., Kenneth A. Ricci and Dennis W. Ricci.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 100 Chatham Street, Providence. Interment will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Church, 351 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904. Dear Cousins, Your mother was the ABSOLUTE BEST! I always told her every time I saw her that she was my favorite aunt. That's because she truly was my favorite. She was a beautiful and wonderful person, and she will be missed dearly. I cannot believe that she is gone from this earth, but they say she is now in a better place. May her love and strenght shine down upon you at this time, and may you find peace in your memories of her and remember that she loved, cherished and was very proud of both of her sons. Dear cousins Greg, Becky, Jeff and family: I am sincerely sorry for the passing of your mom. She was always one of my favorite aunts. I always enjoyed seeing her at the nursing home visiting grandma when I worked there. Always such a beautiful smile. She would say to me Deb I finally have a daughter, Becky. Dear Porcaro Family, I worked at the DaVinci Center when I was a teenager. Your mom was sunshine! She had the best laugh. There was never a dull moment at the center with your mom around.
