Lessel Coelho Obituary
Born Aug. 1, 1927, in Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Ethel (Fields) Norton.
Mrs. Coelho was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She retired after 20 years from New England Telephone and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Lessel was a passionate animal lover.
She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Gus Ferreira of Seekonk and her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Marty Coelho of Sandown, NH.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9:45am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-8pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Cranston Animal Shelter, 920 Phenix Ave., Cranston, RI 02921. www.rebellofuneralhome.com.
