Joseph, Janet, family, and friends: Ever since I met Linda over 30 years ago in Anchorage, I always appreciated her quick, quirky sense of humor, her matter-of-fact, no-nonsense approach to life, and her unwavering friendship. I marveled at her devotion to her parents - caring for them both in their twilight years when they were ill. She was always generous with her time to her friends, and to her beloved kitties when they needed a lap or a scratch. One could always count on Linda to tell you honestly what she really thought. Despite adversity in her life, Linda made the best of whatever situation she faced even to the end. I'll miss Linda because she made the world a better place with her homemade quilts, bakklava and her generous heart. May she find peace. She will be missed by her many friends all over the world.

I first met Linda when we worked in Bethel. She was a confidant, friend, adviser, and all around good soul. We traveled our different paths over the years, but still kept in touch. I treasure the picture she sent me of her exiting a trading post in the Yukon. Years later, I was her thankful guest in Anchorage while accomplishing my own return there. Her quilting gave many of us joy, her gardening the same to others. In the later years of my mother's life, it was Linda who provided guidance and recommendations for securing the best care sites and sources. I had the pleasure of speaking with her via phone in Florida. Though not unexpected, the reality still is harsh when it comes.
My thoughts and prayers are with all who share the joy she brought us.
Via con Dios mi Amiga.

Linda was a good friend of my dad's after my mom passed away. She provided him with great friendship and support when he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. I was so sorry to hear that she was sick as well. My dad always spoke so fondly of her. A few years ago, she made Christmas gifts for my children, whom she had yet to meet. What a sweet soul. I'm sure my dad gave her a joyful greeting when she crossed over (and probably a bad joke, too).
My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Blessings to you all.

I first met Linda in Bethel,AK. She was a loving and caring lady. I was friends with her for several years I will remember the break up parties in Bethel and get togethers we had after we moved to Anchorage. When I moved away from Alaska I lost contact with her. I have since returned to Alaska and tried to locate her. I am so sorry for your loss, she will be missed.
