Marie Vigeant

VIGEANT, MARIE 'BLONDE' (RAGOSTA), 92, of Wayland Avenue, Cranston, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Armand 'Frenchy' Vigeant.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Antonetta (DeRobbio) Vigeant.

She was the loving mother of Marie A. Wolfenden and her husband Henry of Cranston, Armand Vigeant Jr. and his wife Mary of Johnston, Anthony Vigeant and his former wife Joan of Cranston and William Vigeant and his wife Beverly of North Providence. Mrs. Vigeant was the grandmother of eight, the great-grandmother of fifteen and the great-great grandmother of one great-great-granddaughter. She was the sister of Ralph Ragosta and his wife Marie of Cranston and the late James and Domenic Ragosta and Viola Massarone.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
