Robert Siedzik Obituary
Born in Providence, a son of the late Eugene and Katherine (Lepkowska) Siedzik, he had been a Cranston resident before moving to Warwick 15 years ago. Mr. Siedzik was a Providence Police officer for 23 years before retiring in 1994. He served in the army during Vietnam War. Mr. Siedzik was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Former Providence Lodge of ELKS #14 and was a member of the Providence FOP.
He leaves 1 daugher, Lisa V. Coggins of Hawthorne, FL; 3 sons Stephen P. Siedzik of Jacksonville, FL, Domenic L. and James R. Seidzik both of Warwick, 1 grandson. He was the brothr of the late Thomas Siedzik.
Calling hours Sunday 6-8 in the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Funeral and burial will be private.

I was a dispatcher for 18 years with the PPD and worked with Bob for many of those years. I was also was an Elk member with Bob.
We reconnected after a few years while we were visiting in RI and saw him at his security job in downtown Providence.
We continued to keep in touch with him through cards and e-mail notes.
Bob was a good and decent man and will be missed by many.
My wife, Robin, and I will miss him too.
We offer our deepest sympathies to all his family!!

Bob was a nice man. I enjoyed working with him at the P.P.D. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I will be praying for Bob and all of you. May God rest his soul.
