John Calce Obituary
Born in Barrington, he was the son of the late Marco and Lillie (Chellel) Calce.
John had worked most of his life in the automotive industry, most recently he was co-owner of Wayside Motors, LTD before retiring. He was also a 1975 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Johnson and Wales College, earning a degree in Business Management and he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. They were the light of his life. He was also a man of great faith and knew God loved him.
He was the father of Mark Calce, Sharon Calce Connolly, and Melissa Calce Sousa; grandfather of Christine Calce Connolly, Taylor Anne and John William Calce, and Shayna Marie and Sydney Lynne Sousa; brother of one.
His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the WILBUR- ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St., Warren followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood St. Bristol. Burial with Military Honors to follow in St. Alexander Cemetery, Warren. VISITATION SUNDAY 4-8 pm. For online condolences, visit www.mem.com
