Richard Fratantuono Obituary

FRATANTUONO, RICHARD A., 62, of Silver Spring Street, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 12, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla (Silva) Fratantuono. They were happily married for 41 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Rose (Russo) Fratantuono. Mr. Fratantuono was a welder for Electric Boat and also a mail handler for the Providence Post Office for many years before his retirement. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, he is the devoted father of Alisa Ohl of Warren, Richard A. Fratantuono Jr., and Kara Fratantuono both of Providence; a brother Michael Fratantuono of NH., two sisters Justine Smith of North Attleboro, MA. and Lucille Antonucci of Johnston. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Zoe, Brigid and Xavier.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be Monday (TODAY) 4-8 p.m.
