Dear family & friends of Pete,
We are very sorry for your loss. Pete was a great guy, whom I had the pleasure to have worked with for many years at the Pawtucket PO. I will miss his contagious smile, seeing him at the polls and walking/driving around the neighborhood!

My deepest sympathy, Irene and to your children as well.
Pete always spoke highly of his children and you whenever we talked at the Knights of Columbus.
He was a worker. He loved kids, his family, his work, his church, his associations, his city and his country. His obituary says it all. Nobody does all that he accomplished without love. A true Knight.
Leo Leclerc former District Marshall for the State of Rhode Island Knights of Columbus
He was always there for me to stand guard at funerals for brother knights when at the helm at Delaney Assembly. I only wish I could have been in Rhode Island to do the same for him.
May God grant him peace and a special place in the heavens above

Dear Mrs. Mecchi and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I first met Mr. Mecchi at my work Dr. Geret A. DuBois's office and he used to walk in with that big smile and say no whining!! Mr. Mecchi made pins for the doctor for his lab coats that read no Whining! Everytime there after when I seen him out and about I used to say NO Whining!, and that big smile would cross his face. He was a great man and very kind hearted to all. I am honored to say, I knew of him. Again, may your family find comfort and peace with all the happy memories he has left you and all of the lives he touched. McCoys Fireworks along with many other things will not be the same with out him.

Dear Mrs. Mecchi and Family,
How sad I was to hear of the passing of Mr. Mecchi. I have such great memories from years of playing softball for St. Teresas to having him as customer at the Corner Pub. You are all in my thoughts and prays. He was always the perfect gentleman.
