Virginia Madoian Obituary
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Kamyk and Elizabeth (Harabedian) Simonian, she resided in Cumberland since 1969.
Virginia was an Executive Secretary at Citizens Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church and its Ladies Guild.
Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Gregory A. Madoian and his wife Margaret of North Kingstown and David M. Madoian of Cranston; loving grandmother of Paul and Kevin Madoian; and dear sister of S. Sylvia Simonian of Cranston and Mabel Manoogian of Hackensack, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909.

When I heard the news of Mrs. Madoian's passing, we felt so sad for her and you all...she really fought a tough battle. I will remember Mrs. Madoian as a lovely lady who loved her family and her church. I will miss seeing and talking with her. May God be with you all during this difficult time...

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of you mother. She was such a beautiful person and a lovely woman. I will always remember her with fond memories and mostly how very special she was to my mother.
