David Bestwick Obituary

BESTWICK, DAVID J., 59, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Ruotolo) Maggiacomo.

Born in Providence, a son of Mary (Andreozzi) Bestwick of Barrington and the late John Bestwick.

Raised in Barrington. He lived in Cranston for the past 15 years. He was the owner operator of Automotivest Equipment Inc., of North Attleboro for over 15 years. He attended Barrington High School and RI Trade Shops. He loved the ocean, fishing and boating. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters Michelle Bestwick of Taunton, Carrie Bestwick of Coventry and two grandchildren Mark and Trinity. He also leaves a sister Joan Lemieux, her husband Jim and two nephews Justin and Christian of Swansea. Step-Father to Peter Maggiacomo of Johnston and Michael Maggiacomo of Tampa, FL.

Following his wishes all funeral and burial services will be private. A Memorial Mass will follow at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1905 in David's name.
