Rita Husted Obituary

HUSTED, RITA M., 91, formerly of Eisenhower Drive, a floor supervisor for 45 years with the former Mangan Company in Providence before retiring, died Friday, July 18, 2008 at Haven Health Center.

Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Laura (Boulanger) Picard. She had been a resident of Smithfield since 1954.

She is survived by her daughter Georgena Kelly and her husband, John of Greenville and Pompano Beach, FL, five grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a sister Lorraine Salvati, of Greenville. She was the sister of the late Hector J., Victor J. and Roland Picard and Irene Passano.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Tuesday 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914 or St Philip School, 618 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828.
