Celia Roberti Obituary
Celia was employed as a footpress operator for Martelli Jewelry and BB Greenberg before retiring. She was a member of the SNMI Bowling League at the Cranston Bowl and also an avid bingo player.
She was the beloved mother of Thomas R. Cole, Charlotte A. Porter, Beverly A. Manson, Patricia A. Kelly, Albert C. Roberti and Holly A. Dorsey. Sister of John and Edward Cole, Louise Strachan and the late Anthony, Joseph, Frank and William Cole, Rose Schiapo and Mary Salvas. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and forty-four great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI, 02914, will be appreciated. Dearest Pat and family,
I was so sorry to be reading the obits in projo and learn of the passing of your mom. We used to have such great times at Town Tavern and The Harp and Shamrock....both of which are long gone. She is now up in heaven with Jimmy McAuliffe,my boyfriend at the time and all who have passed on before her. May God bless you always and help you to ease your pain of losing mom. Just want you guys to know that you were there 24-7 for her,Thanks to you three she lived every day like it was her last.That woman was the greatest.I know Tommy,Scoopy and I Love you with all our heart and souls.
