Gisele -

When I hears the news of Ed's passing, it brought me back to the first time that I met Ed. We had been auditioning guitar players for days and having no luck finding anyone that lived up to our expectations. Ed walked in, plugged in his guitar and blew us away...we offered him the job on the spot and fortunately for us he accepted. It led to the success of Toys and the start of a great friendship for many years. Although we haven't kept in touch throughout the years, I always felt that the band had a timeless connection.

We had good times and bad but looking back, most of the "bad" times seem pretty funny now. I'm pretty sure that when our truck broke down in Boston on Christmas Day on the way to northern Vermont we ended up back at your apartment to warm up an comfort ourselves. The stories are endless and I hope to be able to reminisce with you some time.

I'm sure I speak for all the former Toys members when I say we have many great memories to smile about. The memories are something that can never be taken away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Hi Giselle,
It's Rick (kybd player for "Toys")
I'm so sorry to hear about Ed's passing. He was such a great guitar player & made us laugh nonstop when we worked together.
I have so many memories of him with our crazy band and our on-the-road antics. I remember his old cars he would drive to the gig-they were such classics.
He would always laugh at me when I would bring egg whites & chicken to the gig. I remember being in a band house trying to sleep but Ed was in the living room watching Bugs Bunny-laughing histerically waking everyone up.
He was such a talented musician and a great guy. He'll be very missed. We recently contacted Ed to get our band back together for a reunion. I'm glad we had the chance to contact him. He still had his sense of humor that I'll always miss.
