Filomena Dipippo Obituary

DiPIPPO, FILOMENA (GRIECO) 'FANNIE', 92 of Marilyn Drive passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Hopkins Manor. She was the beloved wife of Carlo DiPippo. They were happily married for 67 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Celesta (Penta) Grieco.

Fannie was tenderly cared for by Hospice of Nursing Placement in Pawtucket to which her family is eternally grateful. She was also an active communicant of St. Ann Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by her son Robert DiPippo and his wife Beverley of Greenville and a sister Louise DeAcutis of Boynton Beach, FL. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Thomas Grieco and Carmela DiPippo.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
