Angelina Milano Obituary

MILANO, ANGELINA, R. (PELLEGRINO), 88, formerly of Traver Avenue, Johnston died on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the wife of the late Fabiano Milano.

Born in Providence a daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Rapa) Pellegrino, she moved to Campagnola, Italy in 1923 returning to Providence in 1969 settling into Johnston in 1973. Mrs. Milano was employed by the former Lincoln Lace Company in Providence for 10 years retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Maria Santissima Della Pieta DiCampagnola Society of Providence.

Mrs. Milano is survived by two sons: Angelo and his wife Angela Milano, Antonio and his wife Angela Milano and one daughter: Anna Maria and her husband Rosario Capraro all of Johnston. 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Avenue, Providence at 10:00am. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange Street, Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903.
