Ella Mooney Obituary

MOONEY, ELLA J., 104, formerly of Bishop Hill Road, passed away July 21st at Haven Health Center of Greenville.

Born in Pforzheim, Germany, a daughter of the late Wilhelm and Luise Hoffman Jaeger. Ella emigrated to this country in 1911 with her entire family. Prior to her marriage in 1927 to the late Howard T. Mooney, she was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Speidel Company in Providence.

Ella was predeceased by her son, Howard T. Mooney Jr., her three sisters, Helene Millmather, Louise Smith and Gertrude Stender and her two brothers, William and Eugene Jaeger.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine L. Mooney of Glocester, her granddaughter, Deborah L Rowley of Greenville, a grandson Alan G. Gustafson of Glocester, five great grandchildren, Stephen, Jason, Rebecca, Alana and Abigail and two great great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jonathan as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2 at 11 a.m. in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery. For messages of condolence and directions, visit www.andersonwinfield.net.
