Mildred Paterson Obituary
A life long Smithfield resident, she was the daughter of the late Fred Vickers and Eva (Austin) Jacobs. Mrs. Paterson was a stitcher for the former Mine Safety and a textile worker for local mills.
She is survived by her daughters, June Morrison and her husband Don of Sumter, So. Carolina and Marilyn Knight of Smithfield; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Milton Vickers.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10AM in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rte. 44), Greenville. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7pm.
