Jeanne Perkins Obituary
Born in Springfield, MA on February 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George and Ella (Vincellette) Vaillant and graduated from James Lockwood High School in 1938. For years Jeanne loved and showed Persian Cats, her favorite pasttime. She was a craftsperson as well and from her shop in Apponaug she became well known for her cake decorating.
Jeanne was the beloved mother of Dean Perkins of Bolton, MA and the late Bryan E. Perkins. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Kristen and Matthew Perkins, Bryan's children.
Private funeral services will be held with burial in the Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886. Information and condolences at www.carpenterjenks.com.
