Dear Mrs. Langlais,

My dad -- John Davie -- wanted me to send you this note to let you know that he is thinking of you and your family. Mr. Langlais was a true friend to my mom and dad, and as my dad aged - Mr. Langlais helped him in so many different ways.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'll always remember "Sal Mineo" and of course "Martha Raye". No one can take away the loving and happy memories of my knowing and enjoying both of you while growing up, especially at Christmas. We did have good times, didn't we?

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I will always cherish the time spent many years ago going to Rhode Island to see M'oncle Gerry, M'tante Simone, Claudette, Gerry Jr, Ricky and Bernie. These were the fondest memories of my childhood.
My father has just lost his best friend.

thank you for the sweet memories and our pleasant talks while sitting on your front porch, and how patient you were when I would "stretch" saying Grace before we ate, just to see you look up at me as if to say,"enough, I'm hungry" My favorite memory was, while you waited for me to call you to the table, you asked; " Is it Amen" yet?
Well dear Jerry, it is Amen now. See you in heaven dear soul.
