To the Clark Family- My deepest condolences for your loss.I had the pleasure to also know your husband/father . When growing up , one the highlights was a spring fishing trip with Uncle Dick and my father. It included onion soup , peanut butter and anything, and some the best company still to this day i can remember growing up. Uncle Dick had a great ability to put a pleasently unknown dimension to my fathers growing up with his best friend. I remember looking at those white size ten tennis sneakers that had a little paint on them. A little worn and a lot of character, and displayed a warm integrity like the the owner. My Father adored him , on a ride home from one of those fishing trips.I asked questions about him and Uncle Dick growing up. We talked about all the way home. I found my father's youth and in turn my father. He said your Uncle Dicks greatest quality . If there was one hamburger in the room , and twelve people . Your Uncle Dick could make it feel like a banquet. He laughed and patted me on the shoulder, and pulled over got some fried clams.
Your husband and father wont be alone, in my heart i believe there will be someone waiting for him . With two poles, two buckets one with ice...... My best to you and your family...... Kent W. Harris Jr.

I bought a car from Dick at Lumb Motors in Pawtucket in 1968. He is the only sales person that I remember because he knew how to treat people with respect. Most sales people forget about you after the sale, but Dick treated you like gold years later. I never fogot that experience and the great service that I received long after buying a car through him. Dick was an honest sincere person and may he rest in peace.
