Kimberly Harris Obituary

HARRIS, KIMBERLY, 29, of Homewood Avenue, North Providence formerly of Cumberland, passed away suddenly Monday, August 4, at home.

Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of Shirley (Bishop) Harris of North Providence, and the late James B. Harris.

She was a graduate of the Cumberland High School, Class of 1998; and later attended CCRI.

She was employed by the National Grange Mutual Insurance Company of Auburn, MA; and formerly employed by Kohls of North Dartmouth, MA. She was also previously employed by the Citadel Broadcasting Corporation as a Promotions and National Sales Representative.

She was a former member of the Penguin Swim Team of the Cumberland Boys and Girls Club.

Besides her beloved mother, she also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling Hours will be held 5-8 PM, Friday, August 8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow Street, Providence, RI 02903.

Kohl's in Warwick. She was always smiling. She used to tell me all

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Kim's passing. She worked for me in the promotion department at Citadel Broadcasting in Providence. Kim had a smile for us every day and I will always remember her sense of humor. Not a day went by that we didn't share a laugh. She enjoyed and lived life fully and she will be sorely missed.
