Ralph Cipriano Obituary

CIPRIANO, RALPH J., 79, of Seekonk, MA, died peacefully on Friday August 8, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Mary (Zinni) Cipriano, to whom he was married to for 54 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Carmella (Guatieri) Cipriano.

Mr. Cipriano was the owner of Cipriano Tool Co. for over 35 years. Ralph was a member of the East Providence Chamber of Commerce. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Koran War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five children; Gregory R. Cipriano of Bellingham, MA, James A. Cipriano of Pawtucket, Mark A. Cipriano and his wife Susan of Pawtucket, Lisa C. Silvestri and her husband of James of Andover, MA and Marianne C. Mizera and her husband Greg of Pittsburgh, PA, two sisters; Amelia Santopadre and Helen Cordeiro; sister-in-law; Evelyn Cipriano and eight grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Anna Guiliano, Mary Aliberti, Gregory, Anthony and Michael Cipriano.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday August 12, 2008 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 5-8 p.m.

Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Ralph's memory to the American Stoke Association (strokeassociation.org) would be deeply appreciated.
