Leonard Knight Obituary

KNIGHT, LEONARD H., 82, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008. He was the beloved husband of Hedwig M. (Schulz) Knight for 61 years.

Born in Pawtucket, a lifelong resident of the City, he was a son of the late Elmer and Agnes (Fitzgerald) Knight. Leonard was a World War II Army veteran. He was the Parts Manager at Fox Toyota, East Providence for many years until retiring in 1989. Leonard was a summer resident of Eastham, MA. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Chequessett Country Club, Wellfleet, MA.

Besides his wife he leaves Conrad Schulz and family and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Arnold Knight, Gladys Fanning, Harry and Barbara Knight, Arlene Bednar and Thomas Knight.

Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITATION will be Thursday morning 10:30 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Plan USA Child Reach, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886 would be appreciated. www.TrippFuneralHome.com

Hedy,
Sorry we can not be with you but you are in our thoughts. We too remember all the corny jokes - most learned from Dad!!!! Yes I am sure they are having a great game of poker right now and of course Mom is complaining about them smoking cigars!
