Edward Catelli Obituary

CATELLI, EDWARD J., 83, of Berkley St., Cranston, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cranston. He was the husband of Alice M. (Boissoneault) Catelli.

Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Albert and Annie (Shelley) Catelli.

Mr. Catelli worked as a Glass Glazier for House of Glass for 30 years, before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Cranston Council KofC #1738.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Linda Butterworth of Winter Haven, FL and Edward J. Catelli of Coventry; his two grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Catelli; and his two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Joseph Catelli, Catherine Maheu, William Catelli and James Catelli.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Diabetes Foundation of Rhode Island, 1117 Douglas Ave. Unit # 2, North Providence, RI 02904.

Auntie Alice,

I am so sorry to see this online tonight. I wish I had known earlier. I hope I made Uncle Eddie smile with my visits to see him in the hospital. I will always remember the good times and what a wonderful man he was. God Bless all of you.

I am so sad to hear of Uncle Eddy's passing,I always thought of him as Uncle Eddy,even thought I have not seen him or any family member,I will never forget the good times we had at Auntie Kay an dUncle Olivers house,when I was child,those were the good old days.God Bless ya'll in this sad time.May he rest in Peace.
