John Travers Obituary
He was the owner of County Cleaners for 39 years, a world traveler, and had climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. Serving in WWII in the Navy.
He is survived by 3 daughters Rebecca Travers of Warren, Alicia (Daniel Vespucci) Travers of Warwick and Karen (Gary) Field of Portsmouth and grandson Lucas Field. He was the brother, of the late Joseph Travers, George Travers, Mary Santos, Hilda Grandfield and Margaret Lake.
A Funeral will be held Thursday 9 AM, from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St. Burial will follow with Military Honors in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol. Visiting Hours 4-8 PM. Donations may be made in his memory to Bristol Rescue Squad, PO Box 775, or the RI Veterans Home Activities Fund, 480 Metacom Ave., both in Bristol, RI 02809

Karen, Becky, Alicia..Words cannot express my deep sadness with the passing of your dad. I loved him like my own and my heart aches that I will never see him again. He will forever be in my heart. He loved you girls and he was very lucky to have you all there with him. I only wish I could have been there also. Bristol will never be the same. He is at peace now and with all whom he loved. My sincere condolences to all of you.
