Gloria & Evert called me at home every week while I was healing after my double masectomy from cancer. Each week they would call with a kind word or joke from Evert. They are both close to my heart forever.

We have all lost a friend, but we have lost a spiritual mother. Mom took us under her wing and embraced our lives with her love and support. The wonderful outreach she extended to us included becoming members of her family. Moms love will live forever in our lives.

I had the pleasure of knowing GLoria and Evert through Dr. Nanian's office. They would come in singing "Good Mornin, good mornin" smiling and harmonizing. I will always remember her that way and her sweet manner. I know she will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to all of you at this time.

We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly. In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you,you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one the chain well link again.
Love Gail & Doug
