Ernest Theetge Obituary
He was a member of Trout Unlimited, RI Salt Water Anglers, North American Fishing Club, a Senior Citizen Volunteer with D.E.M Fish and Wildlife, the RI Volunteer Fire Department, and former captain of the Coventry Rescue . He was an originator of the Oakland Beach Crime Watch, a member of the Oakland Beach Ass., and the Greater Warwick Lions.
He is survived by three children Melody A. Leclerc, Dorothy M. Vespia and Burton A. Theetge; one brother George A. Theetge; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. at 9:30. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the JONAH Community Center, 830 Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick 02889 will be appreciated. Information and guestbook visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com.

To Ernie's Family, I am very saddened to hear of the passing of your dad. I did your mom's hair for over 25 yrs. I will never forget all the wonderful years I spent with them weekly. The fun times fishing with Ernie, and he leaving whole fish on my front steps. I have many great memories . He will be greatly missed. Love Barbara
