Dear John and Nancy and Family,

We love you and share deeply in the loss of your beloved, Mother.

For only a Father with so perfect a love for his children allows a Mother to be for ALWAYS. And although each of us walk once through a lifetime, we can remain forevermore with HIM in eternal life.

Dearest family members,
I should have checked projo earlier, but I'm glad I was able to make it to the funeral in time. I have fond memories of spending time with all of you, especially Barbara. I will keep you in my prayers.

My childhood memories are of growing up in the house in front of the Tempest home. Mrs. Tempest was a warm and welcoming lady, with a wonderful sense of humor. My sympathies to John, Gordie, Beaver, Donna, Barbara, Gail and Corkey. I will keep you in my prayers.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

When kids are asked what they want to be when they grow up, they give all kinds of responses; a teacher, a doctor, and likewise. I’ve always said that when I grow up, I just want to be like my Nana! She was an amazingly strong, compassionate and fun woman who never lived the life of a woman from her generation. What I will miss most is laughing with her while listening to crazy stories about her life. I admire her for so many reasons and know how blessed I am to have had her in my life for so many wonderful years.

I love you Nana-Banana!

Dear John and family. I am so very saddened by the loss of your MoM. My earliest memory of your her was summertime at the house on Redwood and the bungalow named "Maggie's Pad". I went swimming there a few times as a teenager, and she was always so gracious-feeding a bunch of kids who were there to swim. I also remember her warm greeting for me whenever I'd see her somewhere. I believe the last time I saw her was last year at Christopher's Restaurant. She was with 3 long-time girlfriends (Stacia; Simone & Lou) and it was such a joy to see her enjoying herself with her friends.
You and your family will be in my prayers always. Sandy Drolet Cote

I REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY THE MANY MANY GREAT TIMES AT AUNT MAGGIE'S. FIFTY PER CENT OF MY CHILDHOOD WAS SPENT WITH ALL OF YOU AND WILL FOREVER BE ETCHED IN MY HEART. ALOT OF THEM STILL MAKE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD. YOUR MOM AND DAD WILL BE IN MY HEART ALWAYS. LOVE TO ALL
