Mary Bucci Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the devoted daughter of the late Rodosindo and Michelina (Bovenzi) Corvese.
Mrs. Bucci was employed in the Jewelry Industry at Deltah Pearls for many years before her retirement. She was also a member of the St. Ann Altar Guild.
She is survived by her sons, Rev. Richard A. Bucci of Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick and Robert S. Bucci of Providence; a brother Umberto Corvese of Lincoln and a sister Yolanda Humphries of Rison, Arkansas. She also leaves her grandchildren Ryan and Rebecca Bucci. She was the sister of the late Armando Corvese.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10AM from the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Ann Church, Hawkins Street, Providence. Visiting hours Monday (TODAY) 4-8PM. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.

Fr. Bucci we are very sorry for the passing of your mother. My wife used to care for her when she was in RI Hospital many years ago. You also married us 34 1/2 years ago in St Teresa's church. She will be in our prayers.

I read with sadness about the death of your beloved Mother. The old neighborhood just won't be the same without her, nor the great St. Ann Parish. We were so very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was always a great person to be around. No matter when I ran into her, she was always friendly and gracious. Fr. Bucci, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I remember how you would lovingly speak of your mother in some of your homilies. You have wonderful memories I am sure. I was a parishoner at SS. Peter and Paul where I always enjoyed your homilies.
