I had your father as a teacher at Toll Gate High School. Twice actually, in 10th grade, and then in 12th grade (1978). It was in 12th grade English that he established in me a love of Shakespeare that I retain to this day. HOW he did it is still in question; I stopped wondering a long time ago, and passed on that gift to my children.

May your memories comfort you.

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.
