To Mom,
I was lucky to have you with me for 65 years, and I never said goodbye. I always said good night or I'll call you later or I'm on the way.
You passed away in your sleep to join your family on the other side, without pain. I love you, miss you, but I won't say goodbye. Enjoy your new life with dad and your family and friends and rest assured the time will come when Diane and I will join you all on the other side. Goodnight Mom xoxo
Love Daniel

I'm going to miss you, Nana. Although I mostly only got to see you at Christmas Eve, I always looked forward to it. You were so warm and loving to me and my family ever since first meeting. It was such and delight and honor to have known you.
Many blessings to you and everyone touched by you.

To my fun a fearless cousins:
Although I wasn’t old enough to remember the “heydays” I still have fond memories of special times together with all of you and your parents, Uncle Joe and Auntie Mary!
Danny you always came through the door at 60 De Wolf on holidays and any occasion you could find the time. Eddy, I’ll never forget the time you spent making my first model car with me, it was actually a van I think. Betty, we will still make some memories I am sure on our special trips with “Millie”. Uncle Joe, I remember him sitting at my dining room table like it was yesterday always with his hat and warm smile. Finally Aunt Mary, the most wonderful loving aunt, more great memories than I can write about here and I feel lucky to have had them.

My 65 years in the DeTora family, married to the late Angelo (Bucky) DeTora, brother of Marie Cataldo, were (and are) the happiest for me. Marie was the ultimate personification of love of family. She is gone from us but her love and compassion will be with us forever.

To all the loved ones:
I hope in time the heartache will be replaced by all the wonderful memories we were blessed with throughout the years. Its been many years since we've all celebrated the holidays together, yet I will never forget the pomegranates we shared, shooting the Lupine beans at one another, or the infamous cake that was destroyed because even after dousing it in a bottle of liquor, it refused to light on fire. Those are only a few of the many memories that Nana and Grandpa will be laughing at as they watch us all from Heaven. May God bless them for every wonderful memory we will take with us throughout our lives.

Dear, sweet Nana,
She is truely one of a kind. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. The first time I meet Nana was 11 years ago. She was so warm and friendly I felt as though I had known her forever. She will continue on in my heart.
Until we see each other again,
I love you Nana!!!

We're so sorry to hear of Marie's passing. It won't seem right when we come to visit and she's not there. We didn't get to see her often, but when we did , she always had a smile and wanted to feed us, [a true Italian]. We know how much you will all miss her, try to remember the best of her, there was a lot! Much Love
