Dear Laura,
What are the chances that two DeLucas should leave this world a week apart. I am so sorry to hear about Vinny. He was one special man. We have wonderful memories of being at your home on Sundays and your generosity. Also, of the many times we all went out with Joe and Lucille. The first time I met Vinny was when Ray brought him to our apartment; my Wendy was newborn. She is now 41. He helped Ray put the electric work into our new home. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful friend he was. The last time we saw him was at the Retirement luncheon two years ago, and he remembered me almost immediately. I am so sorry. What an ending for two nice guys.

Altough it has been many years since I've seen Vinny (1986), I will never forget how he, amazingly to me, could swallow quahog after quahog one afternoon while we were visiting at his house. He seemed to have a great love for life.

To Laura, kids, and all the families, my condolences go out to you. May God be close to each of you and may you know that Vinny has taken his place in Heaven with our Lord.

Vinny you will be missed. Our trips out East were always so entertaining when we saw you. I remember sitting around Marie's table listening to you and Chippy tell stories of the past and I would have a smile on my face the entire time!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Laura and the whole DeLuca family. May God be with you all during this difficult time.
