Rita Hamel Obituary
Born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Aubut) Oulette, she lived in Harmony since 1953. She was a sewer for the former Healthtex Company in Central Falls for 23 years retiring in 1970. She belonged to the Marie Jennison Dancers for Sr. Citizens dancing at area nursing homes.
She is survived by her son, Wilfred Hamel and his wife Arlene of Harmony, a granddaughter, Heather Wood, and a sister Theresa Moran of Hartford, CT. She was the sister of the late Irene Chevier, Leo, Arthur, Roland, Phillies, Raymond and George Oulette, Yvonne Therien and Rose Giroux.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Friday 4-7pm. For messages of condolence and directions visit www.andersonwinfield.net

Will,
I am so sorry to read in the paper that your Mom passed away. I know she had been thru so much, so now just think she is no longer in pain and is with the Lord. I never knew your Mom but I did know how great a son you were to her. She could not of had a better son than you. I could not get to the calling hours but I was thinking of you. Take care,

Will, Arlene, & Heather,
I am very sorry to hear about Mrs Hamel. She was such a nice neighbor to my parents Sandra & Donald Bradley, and to myself. My parents oftened talked about what a nice and kind lady she was and glad to have had her as our neighbor. She often said prayers for my mother and for so many others. She was the most pleasant person to talk to and be around. She will be greatly missed.
