Elizabeth Johnson Obituary

JOHNSON, ELIZABETH, 93, a resident of Charlesgate Nursing Center died at the center on August 21, 2008. She was the wife of the late Archie R. Johnson.

She was born in Baltimore, MD; a daughter of the late Louis and Bettie (Bailey) Marshall. She was the mother of Clifford L. Marshall and the late Jessie Wilson. She is step-mother of Archie R. Jr., Jessie R., Raymond R., Rev. Tyrone D. Johnson, Margaret Rutledge, the late Roberta M. Hinton and Ina M. King. She had 90 grandchildren, over 200 great-grandchildren, and many great great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in Bell Funeral Home, 571 Broad St., Providence. Calling Hours Monday 3-5pm and 7-9pm.www.bellfuneralhome.net

Clifford its so sad that mom is gone after all these years i have been wondering where you and your mom were. She surely lived a long and full life. So many memories on willard ave. It's been sooooo many years since i've seen either one of you. Your mom taught me to run the elervator at "City Hall Hardware" when i was 16 yrs old. I'll always remember that.
