Grace Boyd Obituary

BOYD, GRACE L., 68, of Longs, SC, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at her home. Born on June 26, 1940 in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Irene (Frazier) Sheehan. Grace lived most of her life in Tiverton and Portsmouth, RI until moving to Longs on her retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John 'Jack' Boyd of Longs; two sons, Patrick Boyd of Cranston and John C. Boyd; one daughter, Pamela Brady of Newport; one sister, Linda Kirby of Tiverton; and four grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Common Fence Community Center on Anthony Road in Portsmouth on Tuesday, August 26 from 5 to 7 p.m.

My deepest sympathy to the Boyd family. I knew Grace for many years when she worked at Tiverton Dental. My boys went to the same school and played sports together. she will be long remembered
