Francis Costa Obituary

COSTA, FRANCIS R., 90, of Crane Street, Pawtucket died Monday August 25, 2008 at the Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilation Center in Pawtucket.

Mr. Costa was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Vito and Josephine (Bombaci) Costa. He was an electronic technician, working for the United States Government and the Voice of America for many years. Mr. Costa was a WWII Army Veteran, serving in the artillary throughout Europe.

He is survived by his brother John T. Costa of Pawtucket and his sister Rose Moitozo of Rehoboth MA., along with several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank, Joseph, Humbert, Costa and Victoria Arome.

The funeral for Mr. Costa will be Thursday at 8:00 a.m. from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church Walcott St. at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Marys Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. For directions and guest book signatures, please visit manningheffern.com
