Anita O'Brien Obituary
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Basilio 'Ben' and Esther (Montecalvo) Picerno, she resided in Cumberland since 1965.
Anita was a real estate agent for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Linda L. O'Brien of Lincoln, David A. O'Brien and his wife Maureen of Harrisville and Steven M. O'Brien of Cumberland, and dear sister of Joan D. Margadonna and her husband Joseph R. of Cranston and Robert R. Picerno and his wife Joyce of North Providence.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.

Bobby and Joanne, Very sorry to learn of Anita's passing. I'm sitting here thinking of your parents and Anita, remembering good times as kids when all of us---cousins and parents----would gather for the Holidays and other happy times. I am very sorry. Also, to the children of Anita----also cousins---I am verry sorry. Your mom was a good person!
